Subject + Verb to be + Verb en participio + Object.
For example:
To pass sentences from the active voice to the passive voice, simply:
1) Change the order of the subject and the object.
2) Add the auxiliary "to be" in the verbal time of the active voice.
3) Add participle of the main verb
Present continuous
• Active voice: John is writing the letter.
• Passive voice: The letter is being written by John.
Simple past
• Active voice: John wrote the letter.
• Passive voice: The letter was written by John.
Past Continuous
• Active voice: John was writing the letter.
• Passive voice: The letter was being written by John.
Present perfect
• Active voice: John has written the letter.
• Passive Voice: The letter has been written by John.
Perfect past
• Active voice: John had written the letter.
• Passive voice: The letter had been written by John.
Future (Will)
• Active voice: John will write the letter.
• Passive voice: The letter will be written by John.
Future (going to)
• Active voice: John is going to write the letter.
• Passive voice: The letter is going to be written by John.
